Parental Diagnoses SupportPrenatal Diagnoses Packs for Expectant Parents:

Finding our that your baby will be born with Down syndrome can be quite a shock.  Most parents have little or no experience with individuals with Down syndrome and don’t know what to expect.  Wisconsin Upside Down offers prenatal support packs with information about Down syndrome and answers to commonly asked questions for expectant parents.  We are sure that these packs will help ease you mind, answer your questions, and help you as you prepare to welcome a special addition to your family.  If your physician did not give you a pack, please contact us at 262-443-8690 and we’ll send one right away.

Expectant parents can arrange to meet a family with a child with Down syndrome to ask questions one on one.  Experience what a day with a child with Down syndrome is like, or just have lunch with another parent.  Most parents find this is the best way to get information.  Sometimes it’s just easier, more relaxing and fun than getting information from a book or pamphlets.  Many expectant parents are struggling with the decision of continuing a pregnancy.  You’ll find our parents volunteers to be non-judgmental and supportive.  Just call 262-443-8690 and we’ll set you up with a match.
